May I be so bold as to challenge this list? I feel as though the idea of posting my own top 10 would demonstrate an ego I just don't have at this present time.
ReplyDeleteOne series I would say is not just a top 10 but arguably top 5, not just for story and content, but for the extreme of ideas, the courage to try something I have never seen done, past nor since. To shoot a series in South Korea, Chicago, India, Kenya, Iceland, London, Mexico City and San Francisco all as primary locations, at the same time, was mind-blowing! And to have, I believe two-time Oscar winning DP John Toll shoot this series elevated it visually to levels again, I had not seen past nor since. I'm talking about Sense8.
That's it. One show, one series, NETFLIX got right, until they cut it too early. But what they did produce, in my humble opinion, was an all time great! Check out Sense8 if you haven't yet.
